Raw Beauty Secrets

image (1)What is not to love about fall? Cooler temperatures, changing leaves, bonfires and hair static! Those hoodies and cozy sweaters ladies long for can leave our tresses untamable: So what is a PaSH girl to do? No fear here are some sure fire ways to tame those fall fly aways .

1. Moisturize!

Dry frizzy strands are prime targets for fly aways.
Here is a quick moisture mask you can make at home.
Mix together 1 small avocado , 1 cup of mayonnaise , 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and 3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Blend everything together really well and smooth onto hair, cover with a shower cap and let sit for 45 minutes to an hour.  Rinse well , shampoo and style as usual.  You can use once per week for dry hair.

2. Style products

Anti frizz serum
A little bit of serum can go along way toward smooth hair. Our favorite is the Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea anti frizz serum. It cost around 8 at any CVS. Just a drop vigorously rubbed between the palms and smoothed lightly over the strands will be all you need.

3. Fly aways on the go?

These handy items can quickly tame fly aways when you are on the go.
* A clear lip balm can work to smooth stands in a pinch.
* clear mascara works well to tame those flyaway baby hairs and hair in the bang area! Just make sure to wipe the wand off a little before hand.
* Vaseline yet again remember a little go a long way. Just like the serum a tiny bit rubbed between the palms and slightly smoothed over strands is all you need.
* A Toothbrush, yes a toothbrush! A good medium hold spray spritzed on a clean toothbrush will tame all those frustrating fly aways.

Overall the best defense against frizz and fly aways is a good offense. Getting a trim every 6-8 weeks, a deep conditioning treatment once a week , and proper use of styling products will keep fall hair fabulous all the way into spring!

XOXO
