Meet LaTonia Williams

LaTonia Williams is an Alabama resident living near Hoover, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. As a mother of three, Williams understands how hard it can be to meet people. Here are a few questions we asked Williams:

What is one reason you think it is hard to date in Birmingham?

Williams: Despite its size, Birmingham is fairly small. It’s easy to cross paths with someone who has already crossed paths with someone else in your circle. Those people are certainly off limits, as are those who are married, too old, too young or have criminal records (or just seem to be just plain crazy). Sometimes it just seems easier and less complicated to remain single.

What do you love about living in or near Birmingham?

Williams: Being in a big city that still has a small city feel; the fact that there is always something going on and something to do.

What is something you wish you could see come to Birmingham? 

Williams: Dave & Busters and an aquarium

Williams has lived in the Birmingham area for the past twelve years. She is thirty-seven years old.
